Kaitlyn is an American artist living in Paris. She studied Fine Arts and Human Services through Cornish College of the Arts and Highline College, both in her hometown of Seattle, Washington. Since moving to Europe with her partner in 2019, she has taken up intensive art courses with Studio Escalier in Montmartre, and has sculpted with the Florence Academy of Art in Tuscany, Italy. Prior to moving overseas, Kaitlyn worked as a contracted case manager for the State of Washington, Building Changes, & The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, in programs each focusing on poverty alleviation within the Greater Seattle area. In her free time, Kaitlyn volunteered as an art therapy instructor for a local NGO supporting women exploited through sex trafficking. It was during this period that her work began to evolve into something more meaningful to her, as she witnessed the critical role that creativity plays in one’s journey to healing. In a collide of devotions, you will see today that her works are often inspired by her passions for philanthropy & aim to shine light on social causes.

Kaitlyn often utilizes recycled materials in her work, encouraging a greener future for artists. All of her canvas since 2019 has been up-cycled from the streets of Montmartre, where she currently resides.

Kaitlyn has participated in exhibitions throughout Europe, exposing her work at Art Capital with the Salon des Artistes Francais, Fira Internacional d’Art in Barcelona and several privately owned galleries in Paris.
